The Angiology Unit at UKM is a supra-regional vascular medical hospital of maximum care with more than 3,000 patients a year. We offer a broad spectrum of modern diagnosis and therapy using the latest medical equipment, including:
  • Duplex sonography
    Examination of blood vessels that supply the extremities, vessels in the abdomen, and arteries and veins that lie outside of the skull and supply the brain.
  • Light reflection rheography
    An elegant examination method for the detection of chronic venous insufficiency, in particular for the assessment of the success of varicose vein treatment.
  • Capillary microscopy
    Support of the diagnosis of certain rheumatic diseases.
  • Laser Doppler measurement of microcirculation
    Rapid diagnosis of chronic wounds.
  • Angiography and therapeutic catheter interventions (PTA)
    Diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arteries of the upper and lower extremities, as well as abdominal aorta and renal arteries.
